Our DIY Wanton Wrapping Set features the new easy-to-use Twirlee Wanton Wrappers, and fresh ingredients all packed in one box for your convenience. Shrimp Paste, Premium Dried Chinese Black Fungus and Minced Meat will be provided to make the filling inside the wanton!

Our DIY Pork & Shrimp Wanton Wrapping Set includes:
- 75 Pcs Twirlee Wanton Wrappers
- 500g Minced Meat
- 7g Premium Dried Chinese Black Fungus
- 150g Shrimp Paste
- Handful of Spring Onion
- Marinade Mix
- Step-by-step recipe + 3 ways to fold wantons instructions included
We recommend one generous teaspoon of filling per wanton skin!
Utensils Required:
- Mixing bowl
- 1 Small Bowl
- Teaspoon
- Pot (preferably a deep pot with minimum 1L capacity)
- Slotted spoon/spider
- Knife
- Cutting Board
Cooking Instructions: Refer to our instagram post on the making the filling and different ways to fold it.
Deep Fry

Fill a large, deep frying pan or medium-sized pot with a couple of inches of oil to start

Once the oil is hot, add the wontons a few at a time without crowding the pot, and make sure they don’t get stuck together

Fry until they turn golden crispy for 4 minutes
Air Fry

Spray the wontons with oil and place them in the air fryer basket without overlapping

(You can use a perforated parchment sheet on the bottom to prevent sticking)

Air fry at 180°C for about 5 minutes, until golden. Flip the wontons over and air fry for 4 to 5 minutes longer, until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot with dipping sauce as an appetiser
Boil

Bring a pot halfway full with water to a boil, and then reduce the heat to a simmer

Cook the wontons in batches until they float to the surface for 4 minutes

Remove with a slotted spoon and garnish with the spring onions and serve with our favourite Twirlee Crispy Chilli Garlic Crunch
- Wanton Skin, Shrimp Paste: Keep it frozen under -18°C. Refer to packaging for expiry date.
- Fresh Pork: Up to 6 months in the freezer, and 5 days in the chiller.
- Marinade Mix: Keep it chilled in the fridge.
- Dried Fungus: Keep it dry and sealed in a plastic container.
