Introducing Quan Shui’s Handmade Pork Jowl Kong Bak Bao! As we are excited to launch our own Dim Sum offerings to replicate Uncle Oh's original recipe since his retirement, we aim to add more variety to our Dim Sum collection for all Pasar Kakis!

Our Kong Bak Bao uses succulent pork jowl, known for its higher fat content and rich flavour. Every piece of pork is slow-cooked in stew based off our secret recipe. 

Braised to perfection for a melt-in-your-mouth experience, expect to taste a perfect balance between savoury fats and meaty chunks wrapped in a soft and pillowy bao.

Following Uncle Oh's retirement, Our Quan Shui’s Handmade Signature Pork Jowl Kong Bak Bao are now produced in-house with the blessing and guidance of everyone's beloved Uncle Oh!

Made right here in Singapore, Quan Shui’s Handmade Kong Bak Bao is made without MSG or artificial preservatives!

Total Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes from frozen

Recommended Preparation Method - Steam.

  1. For best taste, we recommend steaming the Kong Bak Bao.

  2. First, gently break the Baos apart as they might stick together when freezing.

  3. (Pasar Hack) Before steaming, sprinkle the Baos with water to moisten them.

  4. Upon boiling of water, steam the frozen Baos for 12 -15 minutes. Heating time may vary depending on appliance used.

  5. Serve and eat! 

Serving Suggestions: Enjoy your Pork Jowl Kong Bak Bao with other Quan Shui’s Dim Sum items, such as Har Gow or Beancurd Skin Roll for breakfast, snacks, and tea time. 

Storage Guide: Keep frozen. Once opened, please reseal in a freezer-safe container for optimal storage. After thawing, please heat and consume immediately. See packaging for expiration date. They can be kept for up to 1 year.
