This German specialty promises crisp skin and a glorious interior filled with tender meat and rich cartilage. Perfect when served traditionally with saeurkraut, or a warm side of mashed potatoes with gravy.
Serves: 2-4 pax
Total Cooking Time: 25 mins (excluding preheating)
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Ensure Knuckle is completely thawed before cooking. It is recommended to let the Knuckle thaw overnight in your chiller.
- Remove from packet, place onto a roasting tray, and into the oven for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, increase the temperature to 220°C and let the Porchetta cook for another 5-10 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
Storage Guide: Keep in the freezer for up to 6 months from the date of receipt. Once thawed, consume within 2 weeks. Do not refreeze.
