Traditionally simmered with lotus root, dried scallops, soup bones and peanuts, this soup is enjoyed for its ability to "cool" the body and promote overall wellness. 

This soup set includes everything you need with all ingredients, marinades and even a step-by-step recipe guide provided! Each set is portion-packed and ready to cook to serve 4 pax, making it perfect for busy families or anyone new to cooking who wants comforting, nourishing, home-style soups without the hassle, all without added MSG nor preservatives!

In line with our usual practice of making it frictionless for the everyday cook to get started, the Set also includes a pack of specially curated premium dry goods (dried scallops, seedless red dates and wolfberries) from our partner with over 5 decades of experience; all the flavour and none of the extra fuss or leftover waste!

Our Lotus Root & Peanuts Pork Bone Soup Set includes:

  • 500g of Soup Bone
  • 250g of Chinese Peanuts (We recommend using half the packet, but feel free to add more if there are peanut lovers around)
  • 500g of Australian Carrots
  • 500g of Chinese Lotus Root (with soil)
  • 70g Dry Goods Packet (Dalian Dried Scallops, Seedless Sulphur-Free Red Dates, Premium Wolfberries)

What's not provided in the set:

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Equipment Required:

  • Soup Pot (preferably a deep pot with min. 3L capacity)
  • Alternatives: Pressure Cookers, Slow Cookers or Claypots

Storage Guide:

  • Soup Bone: Last up to 6 months in the freezer or 5 days in the chiller
  • Carrots: Store in a perforated plastic bag or wrapped in a damp paper towel in the crisper drawer (lasts 2–4 weeks)
  • Lotus Root: Wash off dirt and pat dry. Store unpeeled in a cool, dark place or in the fridge.
  • Peanuts: Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place
  • Dried Goods (Dried Scallops, Seedless Red Dates, Wolfberries): Store dried scallops in an airtight container in the fridge for 6 months to maintain freshness and flavour.
