$9.90

Inspired by our love for charcoal fishhead steamboat soup, our Local Milk Fish Broth is slow boiled over 8 hours to develop a rich soup base that can be used for everyday use - from fish porridge to noodle soups and more!

Packed with nutrients and natural sweetness, milkfish brings a collagen-rich depth of flavour — ideal for hearty soups the whole family will enjoy. Milkfish is naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and it is prized for its unique “milky” taste—achieved without the addition of any milk!

From using this as a base for your steamboats to sliced fish porridge for your loved ones, consume this Broth with a peace of mind as it's made with Fresh Milk Fish that are 100% Locally Sourced, Hormones and Antibiotics Free with absolutely NO MSG nor Preservatives added!

Harvested daily by our fish farmer in the waters off Lim Chu Kang and Changi. From farm to table, our fish is raised with natural currents and tides to swim freely, giving time to grow and yield a firm, natural tasting flesh.

Serves: Up to 4 pax.

Serving Suggestions:

  • To recreate your favourite charcoal fishhead steamboat at home: Add around 250 ml of water to yield a thicker and more flavourful broth. (Total 750ml)
  • For recreating your daily recipes like sliced fish soup or sliced fish porridge for 2 pax: Add around 500 ml of water to achieve a clearer and healthier tasting yield! (Total 1 litre)
  • Elevate your laksa or curry fish head by using milkfish broth as the base — its natural umami pairs beautifully with laksa or curry paste for a richer, more satisfying dish.

Suggested Alternatives: If you looking for another collagen rich broth, try our CHU Premium Chicken Collagen Soup. Alternatively, try our CHU Premium Japanese Seafood & Mushroom soup for lighter taste.
