Our Fresh Norwegian Fjord Salmon-Trout is a cousin of the usual Norwegian Salmon that is commonly sold in Singapore. Its flesh boasts a red-orange tone, as compared to the pale-pink of the latter and also has a firmer texture to it.
They are cut fresh and immediately vacuum-packed for freshness and convenience.
Caught in the cold waters of Norway, these salmon take longer to grow and taste less cloying (jelak) due to their lower fat content. They are certainly healthier and have a more savoury taste compared to their counterparts.
Each portion of our Norwegian Fjord Salmon-Trout Belly is cleaned, cut, and delivered chilled.
Serving Suggestions: This belly is great for making your ultimate comforting homemade salmon soup at home with salmon-trout bones, daikon radish, carrots, and potatoes. You can also add miso to make your own miso soup. Or simply marinate it with a mix of soy sauce, fresh ginger, garlic, and a touch of sesame oil to pan-fry or grill!
