Our Norwegian Fjord Salmon-Trout Head are cut from fresh and immediately blast-frozen for freshness and convenience.
Due to its lower fat content, the fish stock cooked with our Norwegian Fjord Salmon-Trout Bones is healthier, less 'jelak' and is also said to have a richer taste than when using regular Salmon!
Each portion of our Norwegian Fjord Salmon-Trout Bones comes cleaned, chopped and delivered frozen.
Serving Suggestions: Our personal favourite recipe is to cook Miso Soup with this! 1 Set of Bones should be good to go with approx. 3.5 - 4 litres of water, 1.5 - 2 tbsp of miso paste, 1 tsp of dashi powder, some wakame (dried seafood) and tofu before finishing up with some green onions for a heartwarming pot of Miso Soup!
For more umami taste, we highly recommend first stir-frying the bones until they brown before adding water and the rest of the ingredients into the same pot!
Storage Guide: All of our seafood are vacuum-packed, which extends the shelf life by 50%.
