Quan Shui x TAIS Calligraphy - Whispers of the Snake 🐍 : An Ink & Art Experience (11 Jan @ 3.45pm - 4.45pm)
Unleash your creativity at this Chinese Calligraphy Workshop held by TAIS Calligraphy Design, where tradition meets artistry! This session focuses on creating stunning brush illustrations of the Snake symbol and the characters 福 (Prosperity) or 满 (Abundance) on elegant red lantern cards.
Participants will be provided with all essentials, including gold and black ink, brushes, practice sheets, guide notes, and red lantern or fan-shaped cards Since the cards are double-sided, you can get creative and write or draw on both sides!

This Chinese calligraphy workshop focuses on creating brush illustrations of the Snake and the characters 福 (Fortune) or 满 (Full/Complete) on red lantern or fan-shaped cards. Participants will be provided with gold and black ink, brushes, practice sheets, guide notes, and red lantern/fan-shaped cards.

Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy tools, including the types of brushes, ink, and paper used in traditional calligraphy.

Get hands-on with the calligraphy brushes, with guidance on how to hold and maneuver them for optimal results.

Learn the fundamental skills of Chinese Calligraphy while practicing the character 福 (fu), symbolising luck and prosperity, with illustrations of the Snake.
